Silent Siren’s Taiwan and Hong Kong shows on Asia tour excite
Four-piece girl band Silent Siren played Taiwan on July 17 and Hong Kong on July 19 for their Asia tour. Their first ever Taiwan show was held at THE WALL. Local fans and fan club members from Japan exceeded 300 people. Buses were wrapped in banners leading up to the event. The crowd brought signs and fans with Chinese writing on them. SCREW performed at Anime Friends 2015 in San Paolo, Brazil on July 10 (local time). SCREW pulled in 2000 people to their first Brazil concert ever. The first song was of their set was “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” from their 2012 release, “V-ANIME ROCKS!” They followed with popular live songs, including “FUGLY” and “CAVALCADE”. Japanese mascot Ossan returns to the U.S just a few weeks after his American debut at Anime Expo. This time around, he’s bringing fellow “Go-Torch” (or “Yuru-Kyara”) characters Sanasenabona (idols from Sasebo) and Koakkuma & Akkuma (twin bears from Hokkaido) to San Francisco’s J-Pop Summit on August 8 and 9.
