Tuesday, March 12, 2013

AKB48 Group’s charity song for the Great East Japan Earthquake, ‘Tenohira ga Kataru Koto,’ is now available for free downloads worldwide. This release is a part of the activities of “Dareka no Tameni” Project, a charity organization established in March 2011 to support the revival of earthquake-affected areas. Soon after the earthquake, AKB48 Group released a song Dareka no Tameni -What can I do for someone?- and began to hold lives from May 2011 around the earthquake-affected areas. As of February this year, they have covered a total of 22 locations around those areas.

‘Tenohira ga Kataru Koto’ is available for download on the official website of “Dareka no Tameni” Project. “AKB48 Project Charity Fund” has been set up on the website and all the donations will go to the earthquake victims through Japanese Red Cross Society.
