Mayu Wakisaka’s Piano Ballad as a sub-theme song for a TV drama in Singapore!

Mayu Wakisaka is an international award winning singer-songwriter, with a growing fan-base all over the world.

Mayu has been currently known as the voice and composer of SONY WALKMAN’s preload song, and now she is ready to launch her career in Singapore, too.

Her bitter-sweet piano ballad has been picked as a sub-theme song for Media Corp’s TV drama “In the Name of Love”.

The story evolves around a pair of siblings and they fall in love in the course of the story, they will be put to test to find out what’s hidden in the name of love.

Also, the video was made in collaboration with JIAMS (Joint Institute for Advanced Multimedia Studies) at Osaka Electro-Communication University.

“I’m so happy to hear my song in a TV drama, since songs from movies and TV dramas have been my inspiration. And the video shoot was fun , surrounded by about 20 students. “ said Mayu with a laugh.
