Luna Haruna, a big hit at Europe’s largest anime event

Monday, August 11, 2014

Anime-song singer Luna Haruna performed as the main guest at “AnimagiC”, Europe’s largest anime event held in Bonn, Germany.

Haruna has performed in the United States and Asia before, but this was her very first European performance. The shows were held at Beethoven Hall on August 1 and 2, and each day brought in 2500 people.

Haruna wrote “Startear”, the ending theme song to “Sword Art Online II”, an anime that is popular even in Germany. When she played the song, the local fans simultaneously stood up, clapped, and cheered.
