Comment from Yoshiki
I am very honored to be the composer of Hello Kitty’s theme song. I would like to send the melody of love through this song and Hello Kitty for the world peace. And I would love my child to listen to it when I have one.
Comment from Sanrio Hello Kitty Designer, Yuko Yamaguchi
I thank Yohshiki for composing this amazing piece for Hello Kitty. It was the winter of 2007 when I first met Yoshiki. Since then I had this thought in mind that it must be Yoshiki who composes Hello Kitty’s theme song. It’s because he is an artist who can be loved by the world. And after creating Yoshikitty, I got to know his warm personality and that gave me even the stronger conviction about this. I am so moved by the fact that for the memorable 40th anniversary , we got to create Hello Kitty’s theme song that I’ve always wanted. Thank you, Yoshiki!
