Kobushi Factory

On January, 2nd 2015, a new Hello! Project (project which includes many famous idol groups) unit with 8 members has been created, Kobushi Factory (Magnolia Factory). Concerning the name Kobushi Factory, the Japanese tree “Kobushi” (magnolia kobus) is the first of the other trees to have white blossom and announces the coming of the spring. Adding to the refinement of the kobushi’s flowers, the origin of the name “Kobushi” is “Nigirikobishi” and has the symbol of the strength (clenched fist). So this group has been named with those two meanings. In the language of flowers, Kobushi means: “friendship”, “trust”, “welcome”. With the language of flowers, the color fits perfectly the group. In order to inherit Berryz Kobo (another Hello! Project’s group, on indefinite hiatus) spirit, “Factory” has also been associated. The group made its major debut with their triple single “Dosukoi! Kenkyoni Daitan / Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san no Uta / Nenniwa Nen (Neniri Ver.)” on September 2nd and all their 3 singles reached the top 3 of the Weekly Single Oricon Charts. Be prepared, this is just the beginning for Kobushi Factory (Magnolia Factory)!
