Hatsune Miku / First “Japanese Artist” to Make a Release in 217 Countries

‘Tell Your World’ by a virtual singer Hatsune Miku was released on 1/25 in as many as 217 countries around the world, setting a record for the highest number of countries to digitally release a song as a “Japanese artist.”

This song was previously released in Japan on 1/18 in the name of “livetune feat. Hatsune Miku.” Hatsune Miku ranked even higher than AKB48 on iTunes charts. After Lady Gaga’s song in 12/2011, this song has been chosen as the CM song for “Google Chrome,” setting a new record on YouTube for the number of plays as high as over 2,000,000.
