HKT48 will recruit members in Taiwan

HKT48 held a concert in Taiwan as an extra date on the tour that started in September 2014. This was the first Taiwan show for anyone from the AKB48 group. Tomomi Itano to play her first overseas shows in Taiwan and Hong Kong

Tomomi Itano just released her first album, “SxWxAxG” in July and is currently on her first solo Japan tour called “Tomomi Itano Live Tour ~ SxWxAxG~”. She performed at Legacy Taipei on August 22 in Taiwan and Kitec Star Hall on August 24 in Hong Kong. These two shows were her first overseas solo shows ever. Tomomi Itano will appear as an honorable guest at “J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2014”, a two-day street festival held in San Francisco from July 19 to 20. This will be Itano’s first performance in America. “J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2014” is a street festival that showcases Japanese pop culture and was started in the summer of 2009. A trailer video for Tomomi Itano’s first album, “SxWxAxG”, has been released. The album contains four songs and was released on July 2.
